  • 4 - REINFORCED, HEAVY-DUTY FIBREGLASS, CRACK-RESISTANT MESH (2mm) - A strong fibreglass reinforcement mesh integrated into the base layer. It enhances impact resistance and distributes stresses evenly across the façade.
  • 5 - MECHANICAL SYSTEM FIXINGS - White, flat-disc mechanical anchors securing the render system firmly to the substrate. These fixings increase durability and structural reliability.
  • 6 - SECOND PASS OF BASE ADHESIVE RENDER (smoothing) - A further application of grey basecoat placed over the reinforced layer. In the roughcasting process, this coat is horizontally scratched using a wire comb tool to form ridges that create a strong mechanical key for the following layer.

It is constructed through a composite method that includes a base coat reinforced with fibreglass mesh to mitigate structural movement and cracking. The final layer is a thin, silicone-based top coat, typically with a fine 1.5mm grain, which delivers a crisp, uniform appearance. Beyond its looks, the Silicone Render System is engineered for flexibility and breathability. Its hydrophobic properties actively repel water and prevent organic growth like algae, ensuring the walls remain clean, vibrant, and low-maintenance for years.
